Test your stamina with more than 11,200 feet of vertical climbing over the 104 mile course. Hundreds of competitive adult and youth cyclists are expected to compete in 11 races on Saturday, September 29 for the 2nd Annual Six Gap Criterium. RIDER BAG STUFFING
(Week of 09/24/12 - Anytime between 9:00 am - 5:00 pm)
Key duties include stuffing bags with sponsor information and products for the riders. Detail oriented people needed.
WATER PICK-UP
(Saturday, 09/29/12 - Lumpkin County High School: Time TBA)
A good driving record is required. Key duties include driving supplied pick-up trucks to get water tanks loaded. Must supply copy of driver's license and vehicle insurance.
CHECK-IN
(Saturday, 09/29/12 - Dahlonega Square: 8:00 am - 1:30 pm and/or 1:00 pm - 6:00 pm)
(Sunday, 09/30/12 - Lumpkin County High School: 5:30 am - 9:00 am)
A friendly social personality fits this job best. Key duties include checking in riders and issuing rider numbers, transponders, and t-shirts. This job requires a detail-oriented person and can be stressful during busy times.
TRANSPONDER PULLER

Key duties include retrieving transponders from riders.
COURSE MARSHAL
(Sunday, 09/30/12 - 6 Gap/3 Gap Split at Hwy 129-N/Hwy 180-W: 8:30 am - 12:00 pm)
(Sunday, 09/30/12 - Yahoola Rd/Hwy 19/60: 7:45 am - 10:30 am)
(Sunday, 09/30/12 - Stone Pile Gap: 10:00 am - 1:30 pm and/or 1:30 pm - 5:00 pm)
(Sunday, 09/30/12 - Black Mountain Rd/Camp Wahsega Rd: 10:15 am - 2:00 pm and/or 2:00 pm - 5:45 pm)
Key duties include working with law enforcement, safety and course flow. Course Marshals enforce cut off times on course. Set up and breakdown of signs that direct the flow of traffic at intersections along with verbal direction.
SAG OPERATOR
(Sunday, 09/30/12 - On Route, Various Times)
The basic function of the SAG Operator is to provide mobile, roadside assistance to the cyclist with mechanical or physical problems. This position requires individuals with a wide assortment of talents. A good SAG Operator must be enthusiastic, informative, communicate well with others and react quickly and calmly to any problem. Being a ham radio operator is a plus, but not necessary!
REST STOPS
(Sunday, 09/30/12 - On Route, Various Times)
Would your company, club, or group like to host a rest stop? Key duties include setting up area, snack preparation, and breaking down along with cleaning the area after the riders are done.
